Taking to the stage together with his artistic team, Andrew Collinge created a captivating evening exploring all areas of hairdressing at the Leaf Bar in Liverpool.

After addressing the sold-out audience, Andrew began by demonstrating a graphic shaped cut in a canvas of bleached hair. Talking about his and his team’s philosophies towards cutting, colouring and styling all hair types, he proceeded to explain the process of his work and how he approaches education. Chris Cain and Joe Reynolds from Andrew’s art team presented four models with varying lengths and colours which diversified the evening immensely.

Next, Alison Roberts and Carla Keating presented a men’s segment which gave insight into the buzz surrounding the continually growing male hairdressing industry. This was particularly of interest to many of the ClubStar members, as several have already expressed a direct interest into this field and relished the opportunity to witness a more in-depth presentation on the field.

Andrew then performed an amazing, effortless two minute pleat before Mel Goodheart and Francesca Clarke showcased editorial looks; dressing their models using plaiting and braiding techniques, with Liz Collinge explaining the inspiration behind each model’s make-up.

Andrew said of the event, “We were delighted to be approached by ClubStar to host an event in Liverpool. The Fellowship is all about sharing ideas and creativity. The artistic team produced some great work and there was a tremendous buzz on the night.”
