British Style Collective Competition

The past few months has seen plenty of exciting activity covering a variety of events and occasions.
It started with the Andrew Collinge Creative Team working alongside top TIGI colourist Warren Boudaghians on a photographic shoot at the TIGI BedHead Studio. Exceptional photography by Alex Barron-Hough, beautiful make up from Liz Collinge and as always fantastic styling by Jiv D resulted in the Pure Collection, in my opinion one of our best collections to date. The emphasis was to showcase easy to wear hairstyles on a variety of textures and lengths, all of which were beautifully cut and coloured. To complete the looks and to keep the Pure theme going each style was finger dried to encourage the natural wave and movement of the hair, giving it an 80's vibe but with very much a modern edge.

British Style Collective

Earlier this month saw us involved with the British Style Collective event which took place at various locations around the city of Liverpool. The BSC in association with the iconic Clothes Show was great fun to be involved with and for me it was particularly special as I appeared at the very first Clothes Show exhibition 30 years ago! For this years event we built a pop up salon called the CO Style Bar, where each day a team of our stylists created styles from our Get The Look campaign.

The Style Bar was a very popular attraction with hundreds of visitors popping onto the stand to get one of the looks, Festival, Sleek, Tousled or Waves.

If you missed the BSC it's returning to Liverpool next year so hopefully we will see you then. It's definitely worth a visit, because as well as the exhibition on the waterfront there are also amazing fashion shows at the Echo Arena and at the magnificent St Georges Hall.

Appearing with us at the British Style Collective and representing the CO by Andrew Collinge styling range was our new brand ambassador, GB hockey champion Samantha Quek. We are very proud to have Sam on board as she is a brilliant role model to many young people . As an Olympic Gold Medallist at the Rio Olympics she is certainly a perfect example of how you can achieve your goals through hard work, commitment and working as part of a team but she is also an independent woman who has her own style and individuality as is confident to express it.

BSC Competition

To celebrate the British Style Collective coming to Liverpool we invited the organisers, journalists and key bloggers to a welcome party at our Castle Street salon on the Friday evening where we enjoyed the exclusive CO cocktail! It was particularly great to catch up with Caryn Franklin one of the original presenters of the The Clothes Show. Hopefully one day the show will return to TV as it was hugely popular and made great television.
